Pileofthoughts

High School could possibly be the best thing of my life. Of course I loved going to my little charter school, but RHS holds so much room for inspiration, individuality, and self development. Plus it is significantly easier than the charter...

My favorite thing? NO DRESS CODE. Now I can wear the clothes I want to wear, and break my bank buying something new each week... Of course all my clothes come from Plato's Closet, and I've loved working there this summer! Thrift shopping is the way to go!

I love all the people at RHS. I've heard complaints, "they're stuck up", "they're all the same". Every person I've met is SO different and SO individual. Everyone is funny and nice and it made me think about how judgmental people can be without actually knowing someone.

We did an excercise the first day of my Language Arts class. We had to fill out a typical "Get to Know You" sheet for ourselves (favorite color, music, movies, etc.) and then we had to fill out one for the person sitting next to us without asking them anything about themselves. I honestly had no idea and guessed depending on my neighbor's clothes and behavior. Surprisingly, I answered some right and she did too. I had no idea how readable I am. It made me think, what do other people see when they look at me? Do I appear "stuck up", or "the same as everyone else" just as I thought kids at RHS were before I actually attended the school?

Gives me something to think about.

My life has been so stressful. Probably due to all this THINKING. Goodness. I have to worry about old friends, new friends, grades, family, endofthequarter, clubs (Hope Squad, DECA, Interact) and colleges. Plus there are always the typical worries about fitting in, doing enough right. I just want this week to be over. And it almost is..! Ready to tackle this Saturday and put this week behind me.

Next week will be good.

Much love.
