what i've never done: walk to the cemetery by myself, for no good reason :)

well, i can't say that i've never done this any longer. Sunday i had a grand (freezing, but grand) time walking to the cemetery. i was feeling awfully lonely that day, sitting on a bench in the middle of a hundred graves. bounding out of no where, a white cat came , and he became my friend. I call him the 'Ghost Cat' because that's what it seemed like.

we walked around and behind tombstones together, and i saw graves of people i knew - both died young, one just a baby, the other 20 years old.
some graves seemed really sad, but most, i found, seemed hopeful. my favorite tombstone is in my handy dandy collage - "Today is going to be a beautiful day!" it seemed ironic. I was freezing (my hoodie didn't do much) and it was about to snow. i had nothing but a cat for comfort.

there i realized that life is precious, and it can be looked at in so many different ways. i reflected on myself, my life, and there are things i need to change.

i can definitely say that the walk to the cemetery by myself, for no good reason, really paid off.
